Coach

Manages a team of 9-11 participants by grade level.  Is the main point of contact between families and Coach Coordinator.  Contacts families prior to practice start date, conducts team practices, organizes weekly meet participation line-up and coordinates team on meet day.  Assists with field set-up and take-down as needed.  Needs to have attended or will attend the Coaching Certification Clinic for the current year.

Assistant Coach

Assists Coach in above duties.  Coordinates with the Team Manager, the tracking of individual participant results from weekly meets (i.e. Meet Log).  After each meet, documents participant results information on ribbons to be distributed at next practice.  Teams may have more than one Assistant Coach.  Attendance at Coaching Clinic recommended.

Team Manager

Records individual participant results (places and times) on a Meet Log for all events at each meet.  Communicates with families the day/time and distributes order forms for Team Picture Day.  Assists with making sure team’s area of field is cleaned-up after meets.  Assists Coaches as needed.
