The Eden Prairie Track and Field Association (EPTFA) is a not for profit charitable organization dedicated to the promotion, teaching and fostering of amateur track and field to youth in grades 1st to 5th of Eden Prairie and surrounding communities.

Requirements

There are three basic requirements that are mandatory for all coaches:

  1. You must pass the background screening. The link to register for the background screening will be sent by the Coach Coordinator. You will not be charged for the background screening.
  2. You must complete the CDC concussion awareness. This training is good for three years. We can accept concussion certifications from other organizations, but the certificate you provide must not expire before the end of our season. The training is free and takes about 30 minutes.   3. You must watch the training videos and review the coaching manual.
